Sessions

Sessions are [50 minutes / please confirm] in duration and take place either in person in Southend-on-Sea or online via [platform — please confirm, e.g. Zoom, Teams].

Fees and payment

The fee for each session is [£XX]. Payment is due [before / within 24 hours of] each session by [payment method — please confirm].

Cancellation policy

I ask for at least [48 hours] notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than [48 hours] notice may be charged at the full session rate. I understand that emergencies happen and will always try to be flexible where I can.

What I provide

I provide counselling support. I am not a crisis service, a medical professional, or a psychiatrist, and I cannot prescribe medication. If you are in crisis, please contact your GP, call 999, or contact Samaritans on 116 123.

Online sessions

For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring you have a private, secure space and a reliable internet connection. Sessions cannot be recorded by either party without prior written agreement.

Under-18s

For clients under 16, a parent or guardian must provide written consent before sessions begin. Please refer to my Safeguarding Policy for further detail.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
